Aniline-, nubuck-, buffalo-, and velour leather are unsealed or smoothed leather types with a soft or a velvet surface. Advantages are a pleasant warm grip and a nice patina. The only disadvantage is the sensitivity. Aniline,- or nubuck leather gets shiny and fatty after a while, it bleaches out faster and it gets stains more easily. If an aniline-, or full-grain leather still is new but needs caring anyway we highly recommend our Aniline Protector. It maintains the leather and protects it from drying out or bleaching out. If there is a risk of the leather getting stains, it should be treated additionally with our impregnation for full-grain leathers. If the leather is in a lot of use this process should be repeated after a year and after that more frequently. The impregnation is always done last.
